James Babcock, left, and Ensign Rebecca Burgos, both naval gunfire liaison officers with 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, are recognized during a ceremony formation in Subic Bay, Philippines, June 17, 2024. During the ceremony, Babcock and Burgos were awarded the qualification of a Fleet Marine Force Warfare Officer. The ceremony took place during Marine Aviation Support Activity 24, an annual Philippine-U.S. military exercise focused on mutual defense, strengthening relationships, and rehearsing aviation concepts.
