A photo of the San Jose is taken while conducting a real-world mission to repair a radio tower during CENTAM Guardian 24 Phase II at San Jose, Costa Rica, June 11, 2024. Two National Commission of Emergencies telecommunication technicians were transported to the repair sight using a Blackhawk helicopter assigned to Joint Task Force-Bravo and utilizing Marines from 4th Civil Affairs Group, Marine Forces Reserve, as translators. Exercise CENTAM Guardian 24 Phase II, an annual, multinational exercise designed to build humanitarian assistance/disaster response functional capacity, 3-14 June, is taking place in various locations throughout Costa Rica.
