U.S. Reconnaissance Marines with 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve conducted a simulated raid which included an overwatch, an insertion by a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and clearing multiple buildings with breaching charges, simulated rounds, and flash and smoke grenades. RS24 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored exercise that consists of comprehensive joint training opportunities aimed at enhancing regional security and interoperability among the United States, France, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, and Brazil.
