John Gumbleton, commander, Task Force 80 and deputy commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFFC), is piped aboard during a fleet visit to the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71). Gumbleton spoke with Sailors about warfighting readiness, trust and confidence, and quality of service. USFFC is responsible for manning, training, equipping, and providing combat-ready forces forward to numbered fleets and combatant commanders around the globe.
