Kevin Harrington, 20th Contracting Squadron warranted contracting officer, poses for a Weasel of the Week portrait at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., May 16, 2024. Weasel of the Week is a 20th Fighter Wing recognition program in which base leadership congratulates members for their hard work, excellence and dedication to the mission. Harrington was selected for his positive attitude, leadership and job expertise. He secured contracts for portable air conditioning units within a tight deadline to ensure the Child Development Center was able to safely continue operation, and processed an emergency authorization to purchase an incubator for the wastewater treatment facility in order to preserve water samples undergoing testing.
