Matt Michael, a series commander with Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, conducts a senior drill instructor swearing-in as part of a mock pick-up event for educators from Recruiting Stations Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, and Sacramento as part of the 2024 Educators Workshop at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, June 4, 2024. Participants of the workshop visited MCRD San Diego to observe recruit training and gain a better understanding about the transformation process recruits undergo to become United States Marines.
