U.S. Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 252 and Marine Fighting Attack Squadron (VMFA) 312, arrive at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina, June 7, 2024. VMGR-252 and VMFA-312 supported Distributed Aviation Operations Exercise 24, which is designed to distribute command and control of aviation forces across echelons of command, pushing authorities to the lowest levels, while keeping forces moving between airfields and air sites.
