Soldiers assigned to 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 11th Airborne Division participate the final event of the division physical fitness knock-out tournament to close out Arctic Angel Rendezvous Week at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, June 7, 2024. Teams from every battalion present competed on the final day of the 2nd annual Arctic Angel Rendezvous Week, commemorating the 2nd anniversary of the activation of the 11th Airborne Division, and celebrating the long, storied history of the 11th, while also recognizing the continued service, contributions and achievements of today’s Arctic Angels serving in one of the toughest climates on Earth.
