A U.S. Marine with 3D Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, and a Peruvian Marine ride an All-Terrain Vehicle as part of Utility Task Vehicle training during exercise Resolute Sentinel 24 at Base Naval De Infanteria De Marina, Lima, Peru, June 3, 2024. The Marines drove on a path consisting of difficult terrain, sharp turns, and steep hills to improve familiarity with the vehicles. RS24 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored exercise that consists of comprehensive joint training opportunities aimed at enhancing regional security and interoperability among Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, France, and the United States.
