REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE (May 24, 2024) U.S. Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Daniel Inouye (DDG 118) salute USS Halsey (DDG 97) as both ships depart the Republic of Singapore, May 24, 2024. Daniel Inouye and Halsey are in the Republic of Singapore for a scheduled port visit, supporting operational readiness and regional partnerships. Daniel Inouye and Halsey are assigned to Carrier Strike Group Nine and currently conducting routine operations in U.S. 7th Fleet in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
