Bom, a local historian and tour guide of Mount Samat National Shrine, speaks to U.S. Marines and U.S. Navy Sailors with I Marine Expeditionary Force (FWD) and 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing during a Bataan Remembrance and Memorial Day event in Bataan, Philippines, May 27, 2024. The shrine was built to commemorate the location of the bloodiest phase of the war between Filipino-American soldiers against the Japanese army during World War II.
