A member of the Air Force's Civil Engineer Maintenance Inspection and Repair Team Aircraft Arresting Systems overhauls a Barrier Arresting Kit-12 at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. The BAK-12 is the standard Department of the Air Force aircraft arresting system for stopping tail hook-equipped fighter aircraft in the event of an emergency. During the COVID-19 period of Jan. 2020 to Dec. 2021, the team produced a record 60 units, double the yearly average. (U.S. Air Force photo by MSgt. Reminton Rendon)
