Philippine Marines with the Coastal Defense Regiment and U.S. Marines with 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, I Marine Expeditionary Force, participate in a class on U.S. Marine Corps fire support coordination tactics during Archipelagic Coastal Defense Continuum in Subic Bay, Philippines, May 17, 2024. 1st ANGLICO and 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, hosted the CDR to exchange subject matter expertise and become more familiar with each other’s assets and capabilities. ACDC is a series of bilateral exchanges and training opportunities between U.S. Marines and Philippine Marines aimed at bolstering the Philippine Marine Corps’ Coastal Defense strategy while supporting the modernization efforts of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
