Laney Schol, an F-35A Lightning II instructor pilot assigned to the 60th Fighter Squadron, educates individuals on the importance of bladder relief systems for pilots at the 19th Air Force Aircrew Human Performance Summit, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, April 30, 2024. In the past, a temporary solution to bladder relief issues was tactical dehydration, which posed several health risks to pilots.
