    Downtown Mosul, Iraq, is seen from the left seat of a OH-58 Kiowa helicopter April 5. The Kiowa is from 4th Squadron, 6th Air Cavalry Regiment from Fort Lewis, Wash. Helicopters are used to provide extra security to troops on the ground in the Mosul area.
