Coast Guard members participated in the Sports Fishing Championship AM "The Catch" tournament with professional anglers and prior and current NFL players on April 19, 2024, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The proceeds from the tournament were donated to the U.S. Coast Guard Foundation to assist Coast Guard families and Coast Guard members across the nation.
