Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro issued a National Call to Maritime Service today during the kick off of the inaugural Fleet Week Miami, May 6, 2024. Service in the Department of the Navy offers unparalleled benefits, work-class education and training, cutting-edge technology, and a chance to see the world, said Secretary Del Toro.
During Fleet Week Miami, visitors can interact with nearly 7,000 Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen and women. This positive, direct interaction promotes understanding of the military and the sacrifices they make in support of our nation's defense.
