SAN DIEGO (May 1, 2024). Naval Medical Center San Diego's (NMCSD) newest U.S. Navy Commander, Cmdr. Christopher Washington, NMCSD Medical Logistics chief, has his uniform cover placed on him during his promotion ceremony at the command chapel, 1 May 2024. The mission of NMCSD is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality health care services, and shape the future of military medicine through education, training, and research.
