U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1/8, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), ride a U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced), 24th MEU, during a simulated raid as part of Composite Unit Training Exercise (COMPTUEX) over the Atlantic Ocean, April 24, 2024. The Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) – 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit is conducting COMPTUEX, their final at-sea certification exercise under the evaluation of Carrier Strike Group 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group.
