From the May 29, 1946 edition of the Service to the Fleet newsletter, “No Greater Love” presented a collage of the memorial services taking place around the globe to honor those lost in World War II. France, Okinawa, Saipan, Guam, New Caledonia, and the fathomless sea all serve as final resting places away from American soil. The service in Guam honored those who were killed during an attack on the USS COMFORT (AH-6).
