YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 24, 2024) — Electrician’s Mate 3rd Class Dinh Ngo, originally from Vietnam, with the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS John Finn (DDG 113), receives a naturalization certificate from Lt. j.g. James Rego, assigned to Region Legal Service Office Western Pacific, onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) during a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services naturalization ceremony at the AOB Auditorium. Nine new citizens of the U.S. originating from 6 countries were sworn in during the ceremony. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
