Reece Staats, a fixed- wing aircraft mechanic with Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA(AW)) 224, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, refuels an F/A-18C Hornet aircraft at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan, April 13, 2024. Marines with VMFA(AW)-224, based out of MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina, are currently attached to MAG-12 as part of a rotational unit deployment program to gain experience operating in the Indo-Pacific.
