U.S. Marines with Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, participate in a 5K run for Sexual Assault Awareness Prevention Month at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, California, April 19, 2024. The run was part of MAG-39's STEP FORWARD campaign to improve awareness about sexual assault, address a holistic approach to improve command climate, and to help shape an environment conductive to prevention and reporting. The STEP FORWARD campaign is a call to action for all individuals to use their personal and collective strength to advance a meaningful change in preventing and responding to sexual violence.
