U.S. Marines with Romeo Battery, Battalion Landing Team 1/8, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), detain simulated violent protesters during an embassy reinforcement exercise on Stone Bay, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 16, 2024. The 24th MEU and Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) are conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX), their final at-sea certification exercise under the evaluation of Carrier Strike Group 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group.
