Capt. David D. Carnal, commanding officer, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Business Systems Center (BSC), speaks with military and civilian personnel about sexual assault awareness and prevention at NAVSUP BSC, April 17. Each year, NAVSUP BSC participates in Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) during April to raise awareness and engage personnel in prevention and intervention strategies for service members, civilians, contractors, and family members. During the event, Brian Zirbel, executive director, NAVSUP BSC, joined Carnal and signed a SAAPM Proclamation to reinforce their commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels safe, valued, and respected.
