Craig Ashby, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers temporary housing mission specialist from the St. Paul District, works on the Temporary Housing Planning and Response Team in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's mission to provide temporary housing for those displaced by the Aug. 8, 2023, Hawaii wildfires. In Lahaina, USACE and its contractors, working alongside FEMA, will prepare pads and provide plans, specifications and construction management activities associated with the emergency housing mission.
