ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 6, 2024) A landing craft, utility (LCU), assigned to Assault Craft Unit 2, is moored in the welldeck by Sailors aboard amphibious assault ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) during welldeck operations to embark Sailors assigned to Beach Masters Unit 2, April 6, 2024. Oak Hill is underway in the Atlantic Ocean completing integrated naval training. Oak Hill is operating in U.S. 2nd Fleet area of operations as part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group-24th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Naval integration provides combatant commanders and America’s civilian leaders highly-capable forces that deter adversaries, underpin American security and economic prosperity, and reassure allies and partners.
