The ceremony is a celebration for the U.S. Army Medical Department Activity-Bavaria Leader Validation Exercise.
The exercise is hosted by the U.S. Army Medical Activity Department-Bavaria to help new noncommissioned officers understand their responsibilities as Soldiers and medical personnel. This took place over four days and included soldiers from Army Health Clinics in Ansbach, Grafenwoehr, Hohenfels, Stuttgart, Vilseck, and Headquarters.
