U.S. Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Karen Monday - Gresham, the commanding general of the 7th Mission Support Command (center,) poses with Sgt. Maj. Roberto Guzman, the operations sergeant major of the 7th Mission Support Command (left,) and Ms. Carolina Yepez, the command's Sexual Assault Response Coordinator, following the signing of a proclamation, recognizing April as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, at the command headquarters, Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
'Every April, SHARP initiates diverse events aimed at raising awareness about sexual assault and sexual harassment,' said Yepez. 'This year's SAAPM theme, "Change Through Unity. Empower. Protect. Prevent", emphasizes the collective efforts required for prevention. Alone we cannot effectively combat this crime, but together we can create and maintain meaningful change and truly embody, Forward and Ready!'
The 7th MSC is committed to fostering a climate of dignity and respect for all Soldiers, Civilians and family members, providing training to their formations, and resources to survivors. For more stories and information about the 7th Mission Support Command, connect with us on Facebook @7thMSC.
