Morgan first joined the Army in 1985. Morgan is a combat veteran who served in Operation Just Cause, in Panama, and served with the 82nd Airborne Division, 101st Airborne Division and the 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Regiment. He re-enlisted in the Army Reserve in 2023.
