U.S. Ambassador to Sweden, Erik D. Ramanathan, speaks to a group of U.S. and Swedish dignitaries during a NATO reception held at the Ambassador’s residence in Stockholm, Sweden, commemorating Sweden’s recent accession into NATO. During his remarks, Ambassador Ramanathan said the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Band & Chorus is the first U.S. military unit to operate in Sweden since its accession into NATO. The Stronger Together Outreach Tour is an annual initiative preceding the DEFENDER-Europe 24 exercise, demonstrating U.S. Army Europe & Africa’s commitment to the NATO Alliance and our global Partners. As part of this effort, the USAREUR-AF Band serves as a bridge to increase cultural ties and enrich the alliance between the U.S. and Sweden through music. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
