240319-N-YV333-1199 PRINCETON, N.J. (Mar. 19, 2024) Sailors assigned to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG-59) pose for a group photo in front of the iconic Colonnade while touring the Princeton Battlefield State Park. The Colonnade was re-erected on the battlefield grounds in 1959 to serve as the entrance to a common grave of 21 British and 16 American soldiers killed during the Battle of Princeton. 17Princeton crew members visited the city of Princeton to reconnect with history and foster meaningful connections with local residents, community leaders and schools, strengthening the bond between the ship and its namesake city.
