U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Stephen Boada and Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force Col. Hidekazu Takizawa sign a bilateral standard operating procedure at Camp Zentsuji, Kagawa, Japan, March 12, 2024. The signing of the first official standard operating procedure between 3/12 and the JGSDF 14th Brigade stands to codify the coordination process between the two allied forces and is a result of years' worth of bilateral training and relationship building.
