A 7.62 mm round is readied to fire from an M-240 machine gun by a Marine with Bridge Company, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group during a training exercise aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Jan. 30, 2013. The M-240 is capable of firing 750 rounds per minute and requires at least two operators to be used effectively.
