2nd Lt. Chris Palaguachi, a transportation officer with the 624th Movement Control Team, under the 16th Sustainment Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, inventories a M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle from the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division at the Port of Alexandroupolis, Greece March 11, 2024. Each piece of equipment is documented and identified for transport through commercial line haul or rail to their final destination. U.S. and Greek personnel moved approximately 3,000 pieces of equipment for the 3rd ABCT’s rotational deployment in Europe to deter aggression and assure NATO allies. This mission made sustainment history as it facilitated the reception, staging, and onward movement of the first “heavy” brigade in Greece.
