SATTAHIP, Thailand (Mar. 11, 2024) Ambassador Robert Godec, U.S. Ambassador to Thailand, and Royal Thai Navy (RTN) Adm. Adoong Pan-iam, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, observe an anchor being recovered from the RTN corvette HTMS Sukhotai (FSS 442), during a joint dive-and-salvage operation between the U.S. Navy and the RTN. Commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific/Task Force 73 sustains the U.S. Navy’s maritime forces and is responsible for all diving and salvage operations in the Western Pacific along in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
