POHNPEI, Micronesia (March 09, 2024) Construction Electrician 3rd Class Casey Johnson and Construction Electrician Constructionman Apprentice Caleb Catterton, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, install new light fixtures on the exterior of a building. NMCB 4 is tasked with renovating a dispensary in Nan Uh for Pohnpei State Department of Health Services due to the building being damaged by inclement weather over the past years. NMCB 4 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region to support and maintain a free and open Indo-Pacific. As the stand-in, crisis response, naval engineering force, NMCB 4 maintains a ready posture to deliver in-theater expeditionary logistics via expeditionary shore infrastructure, forward damage repair, and mobile construction.
