Capt. David D. Carnal (center), commanding officer, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Business Systems Center (BSC), speaks with Marine Corps Col. Eric Penrod, future operations officer for Plans and Operations, NAVSUP, and Marine Corps Col. Jose Gonzalez II, branch head for Logistics Information Technology, Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps, Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics, during a visit to NAVSUP BSC, March 12. During the visit, NAVSUP BSC leadership provided a command overview and discussed data analytic capabilities with Gonzalez. NAVSUP BSC provides the Navy with information systems support through the design, development, and maintenance of systems in the functional areas of logistics, supply chain management, transportation, finance, and accounting and is one of 11 commands under Commander, NAVSUP.
