Captain Eric Bowers and 1st Lieutenant Dave Ziegler, from the 4th Airlift Squadron, 62nd Airlift Wing, McChord Air Force Base, landed at Bamako International Airport, Mali. They performed a C-17 Globemaster transportation flight on January 25, 2013 from Base Aerienne 125, Istres, France to Mali in support of the French military. Flight included transportation of military vehicles, equipment, and personnel.
