Naval aviators from Navy Patrol Squadron (VP) 8 “Fighting Tigers,” currently deployed with Task Force 72 out of Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan, take a day to visit children at the Pattaya Orphanage, March 3, 2024. The squadron, which is in Thailand for Cobra Gold 2024, looks for opportunities to give back to the community when they deploy to different countries. Cobra Gold 2024 consistently focuses on humanitarian civic action, community engagement, and medical activities conducted during the exercise to support the needs and humanitarian interests of civilian populations around the region.
