Hospital Corpsman Second Class Nancy Morales, center, received a Coin from Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella, Commander of Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, in recognition of her initiative and expertise on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
Faced with low staffing over the 2023 holiday period, Morales, assigned to the clinic’s Readiness Department, developed a new system expediting service members’ Periodic Health Assessments, resulting in the rapid review of over 200 in a period of two weeks.
