U.S. Sailors assigned to the Beach Master Unit 1 and the Amphibious Construction Battalion train while conducting experimentations using a submersible matting system during Project Convergence- Capstone 4 at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 29, 2024. The Submersible matting creates a stable roadway system to bridge the gap between low and high tides on the shoreline.
