U.S. Army Green Berets with 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) infiltrate into an austere environment using a UH-47 helicopter with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) on Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, Feb. 24, 2024. The two units are sharpening their interoperability during ARCTIC EDGE 24. Special Operations Command North deployed more than 400 joint and allied Special Operations Forces across the pan-Arctic region, stretching from Alaska to Greenland, during ARCTIC EDGE 24 to advance SOF capabilities and readiness in extreme cold weather and the high latitude environments.
