QUITO, Ecuador (Feb. 27, 2024) – Capt. David Fowler, U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet Maritime Operations Center Director, discusses interoperability during the U.S./Ecuador Maritime Staff Talks (MSTs) in Quito. USNAVSOUTH/FOURTHFLT conducts an annual MST with the Ecuadorian Navy to discuss upcoming operations and exercise that will improve interoperability and increase the readiness of all participating forces. U.S. Marine Corps Forces South and U.S. Coast Guard Eleventh District also participated in the MST with Ecuador.
