A case of TMQ-53 parts is displayed during a combined training day at Hurlburt Field, Florida, Feb. 26, 2024. The combined training day brought the 2d Combat Weather Systems Squadron, 23rd Special Operations Weather Squadron, and 1st Special Operations Support Squadron weather flight together to simulate base communication degradation and bolster weather operations under duress, proving that operations and dissemination of weather products could continue with limited equipment and data.
