    7th Mission Support Command

Mr. Kevin Smith, the Suicide Prevention Program Manager for the 7th Mission Support Command, leads an open forum discussion during the Suicide Prevention Leader course, Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at Daenner Kaserne, Kaiserslautern, Germany.

The class combines instructor lead discussions with media training materials, providing a comprehensive look at risk factors and behaviors that may indicate someone is struggling with suicidal thoughts or ideations. This class equips them with knowledge and resources so they can effectively intervene. 14 U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers and Civilians completed the course.

The 7th Mission Support Command is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th MSC provides logistical and sustainment support for U.S. Army Europe – Africa missions across the theater.
