U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Daniel James, a current operations clerk, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, and a native of Lee, Iowa, was selected as the 2nd MLG Warrior of the Week on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Feb. 22, 2024. Each week, 2nd MLG recognizes one outstanding Marine or Sailor that goes above and beyond in their duties and embodies the qualities of an outstanding service member. According to his leaders, James has a stellar work ethic, and provides strong guidance and coordination to subordinates, peers, and superiors alike. When asked what his advice for Marines wanting to become the next Warrior of the Week, James said, “Always look for ways to better yourself, not just as a Marine, but as an individual,” he explained that hard work does not go unnoticed and successes “will start to shine through.” (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
