U.S. Army Sgt. Maj. Shanett Robinson, Surgeon Directorate, assigned to U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) congratulates competitors on their performance during an army combat fitness test for best medic competition assessment and selection, Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, Feb. 13, 2024. SETAF-AF hosted a best medic competition assessment and selection from Feb. 13-14, 2024, at Caserma Del Din and Caserma Ederle in order to select the best medics to represent 173rd Airborne Brigade in the FY24 Army Best Medic Competition. The 24-hour selection program measures a range of critical skills, including trauma care, emergency medicine, and physical fitness. Through rigorous and competitive scenarios, the selection program serves to elevate and showcase the proficiency of medics, fostering a culture of excellence within military medical teams.
