U.S. Army Capt. Jefferey Covell, an advisors assigned to 3rd Security Force Assistance Brigade participates in a media relations training as part of a military readiness exercise at Fort Cavazos, Texas, Feb. 7, 2024, in preparation for their upcoming deployment to the U.S. Central Command area of operations. During the exercise, Soldiers were challenged with simulated assess, support, liaise and advise scenarios with foreign security force role players. The event is one of many training requirements that certify the advisors’ ability to support foreign partner forces and enhance their readiness to defeat terrorist and near peer threats.
