Renner, who hails from Red Bud, Ill., was named Non-Prior Service Recruiter of the Year. He serves at Recruiting Station St. Louis, Mo., in the Marine Corps’ ninth recruiting district. Rubio, a native of Del Rio, Texas, was named Prior Service Recruiter of the Year. He serves in Washington, D.C., part of the Marine Corps’ fourth recruiting district. Both Marines were awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for their accomplishments as the most successful recruiters in the nation during FY12.
